Production of the 2026 Honda Pioneer 1000 Deluxe is officially underway at the company’s South Carolina Manufacturing (SCM) facility. Invited to the party were 700 of Honda’s employees and associates, all of which were on scene at the 850,000-square-foot plant to see the UTVs start rolling down the production line.

As a refresher, the 2026 Pioneer 1000 is notable in that it got a healthy revamp for the new model year. The big news is the new Pioneer 1000 Deluxe model, which is highlighted by revised styling and a new throttle-by-wire setup (ditching the throttle-by-cable setup that it used prior). It also gets the “Pro-Connect” modular cargo bed, plus improved comfort and quality-of-life niceties.
Production is now underway at the Timmonsville, SC plant. Parts for the machines come from both domestic and globally-sourced companies, but the whole rig was designed and developed in Georgia and Ohio.
“Today is a proud moment for South Carolina Manufacturing, for our Powersports business and, most importantly, for the associates who made this day possible,” said Travis Lee, SCM Site Lead. “The product we are celebrating today represents the next chapter of our side-by-side business, and once again that chapter is being written right here in Timmonsville.”
Lee went on to say, “We are not just building products here … we are setting the standard for quality, safety and execution that customers around the world expect from Honda. That happens because of the dedication of our associates across all our teams, and every support function that touched this vehicle. Launching a new model takes discipline … it takes collaboration … and it takes pride in doing things the right way, every day. The Pioneer 1000 Deluxe reflects all that effort.”
Deliveries of the 2026 Pioneer 1000 Deluxe should begin in May.
