Man shot, killed in parking lot of Sandy Springs apartment complex

Sandy Springs police are investigating a deadly shooting at an apartment complex.

Officers were called to the 550 Northridge apartments on Northridge Pkwy off Roswell Road just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the parking lot. The victim, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

Neighbors who live in the complex said they were alarmed to come home and find a police, SWAT and K-9 team searching all around the complex.

Witnesses say they saw suspects trying to open apartment doors before they got away from the scene, on Channel 2 Action News This Morning starting at 4:30 a.m.
