White later died at the hospital from her injuries. Her passenger was also hospitalized but is expected to be okay.

White’s brother-in-law sent the following statement to Action News:

“When we received the news on Thursday morning of the accident and death of Cassidy, we were shook as a family. We love her and wished that this unfortunate accident never occured. We are a small family and are planning a small service in the near future that has yet been finalized. We are greatful to the friends, family, church, and strangers for the outpouring of love. We as a Christian family are holding onto our faith through this. Our prayers also go out to the young woman passenger for complete recovery. We do not know her or even her name.”
