Georgia’s Raising Cane’s footprint is about to grow again.
The chicken finger chain has announced plans to open a new restaurant in Statesboro later this month as part of a nationwide expansion celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary, according to USA TODAY.

When will new Raising Cane’s open in Statesboro?
The new Raising Cane’s will open at 24087 U.S. Highway 80 in Statesboro on Monday, Aug. 24, according to the company.

The restaurant is one of seven new locations Raising Cane’s plans to debut across the country during August. Other openings are scheduled in Michigan, North Carolina, California, New Jersey and Alabama.
Georgia continues to gain Raising Cane’s locations
The Statesboro restaurant follows another recent Georgia opening.
Raising Cane’s welcomed customers to its Albany location on July 21, where the company celebrated with a “Lucky 20” giveaway that awarded 20 guests free Raising Cane’s for a year.
The latest addition gives fans in southeast Georgia another option as the fast-growing chain continues expanding across the state.
Why August is a big month for Raising Cane’s
The expansion comes as Raising Cane’s celebrates its 30th anniversary. The company opened its first restaurant on Aug. 28, 1996, and says August remains an important milestone each year.
“August is a meaningful month for Raising Cane’s as we celebrate our 30th birthday and reflect on how far we’ve come since opening our first Restaurant in 1996,” the company said in a statement.
What to expect
Raising Cane’s is best known for its chicken fingers, Texas toast, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw and signature Cane’s Sauce. The Statesboro restaurant is expected to open to customers on Aug. 24.
