PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The man who died in a shooting at the Eastbank Esplanade in Portland on Wednesday has been identified as 35-year-old Colton A. Mincey.
Portland police said Mincey’s family was notified of his death and provided a photo for the public.

The medical examiner confirmed the cause of death to be homicide by gunshot wound.
Just before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Portland police said an officer on patrol on the Central Eastside was flagged down by witnesses who heard apparent gunshots. Officers arrived and found a man dead on the multi-use path of the Eastbank Esplanade near the Hawthorne Bridge.

No suspect or suspects were initially located. As of Saturday, there was still no update on whether a suspect had been located or arrested.
