The League of Women Voters of Oak Ridge will have an election forum 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, for the Aug. 6 elections.
The public is invited to the forum in Room 107 of the Goff Building at Roane State Community College in Oak Ridge, 701 Briarcliff Ave. William “Bear” Stephenson will be the moderator.
Candidates in the race for state Senate District 5, state House Districts 32 and 33, and Anderson County Commission Districts 6, 7 and 8 (Oak Ridge) have been invited.

Candidates will present opening statements, according to information from the league. Questions from the audience will then be asked. Candidates will then give closing statements. Following the forum, there will be additional time for candidates and the voters to talk.
