Pringles is popping off its newest product, but it doesn’t pack a crunch. The iconic mustachioed snack brand announced on Monday that it’s infusing three of its signature flavors into an overlooked summer staple: hot dog buns.
Pringles limited-edition “pop dog buns” combine potato-based hot dog buns with the brand’s fan-favorite flavors: sour cream and onion, BBQ and honey mustard. Each bun is 7.5 inches long and comes packaged in the signature Pringles can. Yup, the same one you can get your hand stuck in or use as a bongo drum.
“We wanted to take something everyone knows and completely flip it into an exciting new snackable experience,” Mauricio Jenkins, salty snacks brand and content lead at Mars Snacking North America, said in a press release.

The limited-edition pop dog buns drop on two dates: Wednesday, July 8, and Wednesday, July 15 — National Hot Dog Day — at 12 p.m. ET.
They’ll be available through Pringles’s online marketplace, OnceYouPopMarket.com, and will come free with the purchase of a three-pack of Pringles sour cream and onion, BBQ and honey mustard chips for $6.97, while supplies last. Fans can also snag them through the Pringles Instagram and Facebook shops.
Not sure about how to top your pop dog bun? Pringles shared some recipe ideas, courtesy of digital creators Celina and Vincenzo Patriarca, including a street corn pop dog, a Colombian-style pop dog and a chili slaw pop dog.
