A child sustained minor injuries from shattered glass when shots were fired between two cars in Skyway around 5 p.m. on Sunday, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The office told KIRO 7 that when deputies responded to the 11900 block of Renton Avenue South, they initially did not see the cars but found them nearby shortly after.
According to the office, there were at least two children in one of the cars when the drivers exchanged gunfire. One of the children sustained minor injuries from shattered glass.
The office said the Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
