Delaware State Police said it is investigating a fatal crash that killed a woman riding an e-bike on Coastal Highway.
Police said a 66-year-old woman from Potomac, Maryland, was riding an e-bike in the bike lane of Coastal Highway south of Dewey Beach around 11:30 a.m. on June 20. Police said she left the bike lane left the lane and was hit by a GMC Sierra 2500 travelling the same direction.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police have not identified her. The GMC driver, a 64-year-old from Perryville, Maryland, was not injured.

The crash closed Coastal Highway for two hours. Anyone with more information about the crash is encouraged to reach out to Delaware State Police or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
