WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Nebraska man was hospitalized on Tuesday after being ejected from a semi-truck in Rawlins County.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on southbound Kansas Highway 117, about 1½ miles south of the Kansas-Nebraska state line.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2016 Kenworth was traveling south on the highway when it failed to maintain its lane, drifted onto the right shoulder, and its rear tires dropped into the ditch.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Lexington, Nebraska, attempted to steer back onto the roadway, but the truck overturned in the right ditch, ejecting him, KHP said.
He was transported to a Rawlins hospital with suspected serious injuries, patrol said.
