There’s still time for Louisville workplaces to enter for a chance to be recognized as one of the 2026 Top Workplaces winners.
For the sixth consecutive year, The Courier Journal will honor outstanding workplace culture in the region.
To ensure employers have a chance to enter, the nomination deadline has been extended to June 19.
Any organization with 50 or more employees in the region is eligible to compete for a Top Workplaces award with winning companies honored in October.
The Courier Journal’s Top Workplaces returns in 2026 for a sixth consecutive year. Nominations are now open for the area’s best places to work.
Louisville Top Workplaces recognizes standout companies, as determined by those who work there. Workplaces are evaluated by their employees through a 26-question survey that asks about company culture, benefits and more. There is no cost to participate.
In 2025, more than 1,200 organizations were invited to participate in the Louisville area and 32 were recognized as Top Workplaces.
Energage, the Pennsylvania-based research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 70 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.
How to enter Top Workplaces for 2026
Who can nominate: Anyone
Who can enter: Any organization — public, private, nonprofit or government — with at least 50 employees in the eligible Louisville-area counties. In Kentucky, these counties are Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Spencer. In Indiana, they are Clark, Floyd and Harrison.
Nomination deadline extension: June 19
What’s in the survey: There are 26 questions for employees to answer in just a few minutes. Companies will be surveyed through mid-July.
