EAU CLAIRE — An Augusta man received a four-year prison sentence after being convicted of possession of child pornography.
Branden Molinaro, 25, pleaded guilty to three counts in exchange for having two more and several related charges dismissed. He attended his sentencing remotely from custody.
The court gave Molinaro 454 days of credit for time spent in custody while the case was pending. His prison time will be followed by four years of extended supervision. He must also pay court costs.

The case against Molinaro began after authorities said he solicited sexual videos and texts from a 12-year-old. The victim told authorities Molinaro posed as a 17-year-old and knew her age. Texts backed that up, including one that said “Your to young.”
The girl rejected later advances. He responded by asking for “just one more vid,” and sent her a video of him masturbating just a few days later.
